What You Should Know

Retainer Fee
Before we begin working on a project, we must first secure a 50% upfront retaining fee for the originating project request. This is non-refundable and goes toward the final cost of the project. Payment plans can be discussed.

Additional Costs
Depending on the complexity of the project involved, an additional cost may be incurred. If we feel the complexity of the project is going to exceed the limitations of our current project prices, we will discuss it with you prior to proceeding with your design. This typically includes any projects that require an unusual amount of additional time and labour.

Revisions
All site designs are entitled to at least one free revision. This does not include a complete project redesign. Additional revisions outside of your plan’s allotment will be charged at a rate of approximately $50 per hour. To avoid additional costs, we strongly recommend being as thorough as possible in your site briefing.

Also, if you require any additional artwork outside of your plan, that may also incur additional charges. I will always try to source quality artwork at the lowest possible price, preferably free, but if it doesn’t meet your needs, there may be a need to purchase art from a reputable clipart resource such as Shutterstock.

Disclaimer: 

We are designers, not programmers. We are primarily platform-based web developers and work within the theme parameters of each platform. Our services include the setup, installation and design modifications to your site utilising some of the industries top web design platforms. If you require additional custom modifications that are outside of our scope of abilities, we are happy to refer you to someone who can handle those requests. We do offer development services for the Shopify platform, however, our services are mostly limited to the front-end platform parameters and some css/liquid coding may require the help of a developer which would incur additional costs.
