I pour my heart upon this page
As I reminisce of memories come and gone
Knowing now what I knew not then
And having reached beyond the beyond
The passion and pleasures we must forget
Not one stolen moment, maybe two
Maybe more, but I’m not counting
My memories are fading….. and so are you….
I long for what was once before
The whirlwind of insane desires
A time less confusing and slower in pace
But those days have long since expired
We move forward but further away
From what we knew of one another
Into something I no longer understand
The friends we were, we are no longer
I miss my friend….
